Money cars! Money clothes! Could it be?

Make money for the logo on your car and shirt. Umm... okay!

So Doohickeyit is all about tools. We love finding new gadgets that make life easier and more enjoyable. Our World Wide Web digging brought Eye Earn to our attention. We are trying it ourselves and will subsequently re post our experience but it is interesting and we thought to share. Essentially it is a money making tool. I know I know. Basically it is an advertising co-op. They really do seem to want to pay you a portion of their profit for advertising for them with your automobile and clothing. Many companies including Doohickeyit.com want people to wear their apparel to help create branding. We recently stated this. As we are a relatively new site we don't have that program set yet. Eye Earn however seems to and has put a whole new spin on it. If you are interested click the learn more button. We would love to hear what you think as a post here at the blog or you can email us directly at info@doohickeyit.com

Doohickeyit CLEAN!

OxiClean Stain Remover

At what nasty stain encrusted place would we be without the wonderful cleansers at our disposal today?? Thankfully we don't need to ever realize this crusty world because we have www.doohickeyit.com/home.html where we can purchase Great Cleaners. Very affordable too I might add.

At Church & Dwight Co., Inc., our focus has always been on the products and you. We don't cut corners or focus on the short-term profits. Since our inception in 1896, our products have delivered powerful cleaning solutions that are safe for your family. We hope you enjoy the products as much as we've enjoyed creating them. As we discover your tough new cleaning challenges, we continue to re-create the magic, with brands like Orange Glo®, OxiClean®, Brillo®, KABOOM!®, Cameo®, and ARM & HAMMER®. More than one hundred and fifty years ago two natives of New England took the first step toward establishing an industry that has since become of national importance.

Baking soda, which is a trade name for bicarbonate of soda, is now found in practically every kitchen throughout the country and is regarded a necessity by millions of Americans. It was first prepared for commercial distribution by John Dwight of Massachusetts and his brother-in-law, Doctor Austin Church of Connecticut. The ARM & HAMMER symbol was first used in the early 1860’s by James A. Church, the son of Dr. Austin Church, one of the founders of our company. Mr. Church operated a spice and mustard business known as Vulcan Spice Mills. In Roman mythology, Vulcan, the god of fire, was especially skilled in fashioning ornaments and arms for the gods and heroes.

The ARM & HAMMER symbol, therefore, represented the arm of Vulcan with hammer in hand about to descend on an anvil. Originally used exclusively on our baking soda packages, the trademark now identifies an array of quality consumer and specialty products in use throughout the world. Many of these products can be found at

Holy Swoopo.com

If you like electronic tools and toys this online jem is one you just can't miss. Providing live auctions for amazing name brand products but with a cool twist that helps you land your new doohickeyit very affordably. Remember to click on the appropriate flag in the top right corner.

What is Swoopo?

Swoopo - the next generation of online auctions.

Founded in Germany in 2005, Swoopo is one of the world’s most innovative auction sites. Based on a unique software solution and business model, the company sells premium products like: computers, cameras, game consoles and even cars, at very low prices. Swoopo auctions over 10,000 products per month and has more than 1,200,000 registered customers. Here is how it works: our online customers buy “bids” in advance. They cost $0.75 each and are sold in packs of 30, 50, 100, 300 or 700. Bidders have the choice of placing single bids, or, using an electronic bid assistant called the “BidButler”. Alternatively, customers can bid via the phone.Every bid placed, increases the price of the product by 15c and the auction countdown by up to 20 seconds. To help keep track of the money spent on bidding, each auction displays the amount spent on bids by the customer and how much the bidder would save overall, if they won the auction at that moment. The ‘last bidder standing’ when the countdown reaches zero, wins the auction – usually at a very low price; winners save, on average, 65% when compared to the recommended retail price. In December 2007, Swoopo was successfully launched in the UK, followed by Spain in May 2008 and the US and Austria in September 2008.

I love construction tools!

I love constructions tools. I actually carry a general contractors license and have lost the tip of one ring finger. That last part was pretty recent and I'm actually not that happy about it. On that note please think safety. I was not hurt while making a cut it was just after. Right when my brain thought I was safe. Just remember to think safety whenever you are using or around power tools. Today I wanted to share a little bit about a retailer instead of a specific tool. Tool King is on of my favorites. I've included information about them from their about page below. Asphalt skiing? No really.

Today I want to share another fitness tool I think is really cool. Yesterday we discussed iTRAIN a fitness tool used with your mp3/iPod. Click here to see. http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-3319415-10575620 For me fitness needs to not seem like fitness. You know the type. It must be totally fun which is why I love the TRIKKE. For the fitness or the feeling - anywhere there´s pavement - whenever you want. Just step on and carve turns to go. Rip around in your driveway, or ski your neighborhood; turns any town into a ski resort. Pavement never looked so good. The Skiing sensation is delivered from Trikke CV’s carving action; Trikke CV leans into each turn while all three wheels remain on the ground. http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-3319415-10505256

Here is a testmonial or two straight from their site:
I just got back from a short TRIKKE session workout and thought I would fire off an email to TRIKKE. I have had my T8 for 9 months now and I must share with you that for a Surfer that is living inland for a season due to work, riding the TRIKKE is not only a great workout that keeps my body in shape for the times I get to the coast and back in the water, BUT, riding the Trikke is a blast!! I have all but stopped running to protect my knees and the TRIKKE is a perfect low impact workout and it sure gets the heart pounding in a short time. Riding the TRIKKE is like a blend of surfing, skateboarding, and snowskiing. I really like the ability to carve short turns and then lean into some wide flowing turns. By the way, I am 52 years old, surfing for 40 years. The young kids in the neighborhood get a big kick out of the \"ole guy\" on the strange riding machine. Feel free to use this testimony. I am sold on the TRIKKE.

Hands down, the Trikke wins. I have never had so much fun. Now and then, over my 60 years, I'd get myself hyped-up to start exercising, but I never found something that I would actually stick with. All the ways to exercise, and I'm on my couch saying, "Nope." Then I saw a Trikke commercial, said "what the heck," and got my first Trikke. And I fell in love. Everyone stops me on the street to ask about the Trikke, and my "patter" goes like this: "How does it go? Looks like magic, doesn't it! Almost zero impact! Shifting my weight from side to side moves me forward. I can work any muscle group separately or all at once. I can do almost nothing or go all out. It's so much fun that I can't get off this thing until I'm tired. The sensations are as thrilling as downhill skiing or surfing, but I have to tell you, trikking is more like being an artist than a jock -- you are thrilled to be in harmony with this machine." I have been caught. Caught hard. I come home drenched in sweat every single day, and I cannot imagine a better workout for all around general toning and muscle building. I haven't been this fit since Elvis was on Ed Sullivan. And it just gets better. The fun is constantly deepening, and I'm always improving my trikking skills, nuance by nuance, and I feel so fulfilled and satisfied -- finally I've gotten a way to get fit without being bored. See this big smile? That's me loving what trikking has brought to my life. Talk about "priceless." Get one. Get one. Get one.

In the beginning

Welcome to Doohickeyit day 1 entry 1. The blog about doohickey's found in the world and at www.doohickeyit.com A doohickey is a doo dad or device or tool. Tools for many people are things like hammers and drills. Of course these things are tools however I like to think of many more things as tools. Things like tennis rackets and skis. Cell phones and watches. Ballet slippers and Yoga mats. All these items are considered tools because they make the job or task they are created for either doable, easier or more fun. Here at the Doohickeyit Blog we will consider many different types of tools. From the ones listed above to online tools. The information will hopefully be interesting and fun. Our first doohickey will be an online money exchange tool found at www.doohickeyit.com/travel.html Information to be posted soon. Thanks for stopping and hopefully reading. Looking forward to many more posts.
